Sunday, June 28th delivered a doubleheader between Virginia Old Dominion and Gods 5 — and Old Dominion walked away with both games, but not without a serious scare in Game 1. The first matchup was a one-point nail-biter, with Virginia Old Dominion escaping 72–71 as the away team. Gods 5 had the crowd — and the lead — but couldn't hold on. Virginia Old Dominion grinded out the W in one of the tightest games you'll see all season.

Game 2 was a completely different story. Back on their home floor, Virginia Old Dominion blew the doors off, winning 95–78 behind a monster offensive performance. Roust2k went absolutely nuclear — 36 points for the Old Dominion faithful. That's not a typo. Thirty. Six. Meanwhile, nuutFN posted a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds in Game 1, then turned around and did it AGAIN in Game 2 with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists. Two games, two double-doubles — that's a workhorse performance. Mxves2saucey-_- also delivered a double-double of 14 points and 13 assists in Game 1, running the Old Dominion engine with precision. And don't sleep on DriipLxrd_Slime and tothelobbyYT-_-, who combined for 8 steals between them — Old Dominion was suffocating on both ends.

On the Gods 5 side, ||DELO||| was an absolute force on the glass — 25 rebounds in Game 1 and 16 in Game 2, both double-doubles. The man was everywhere on the boards. He also dished 11 assists in Game 1. Gods 5 couldn't get the wins, but ||DELO||| refused to go quietly. That kind of production on the losing side deserves every bit of recognition.

With the sweep, Virginia Old Dominion now sits at 7–1 and riding a six-game win streak — the hottest team in the PRO conference right now. Gods 5 drops to 0–2 and are still searching for their first W of the season. The standings are starting to take shape in UPAC Season 1, and Old Dominion is making a serious statement.
