Friday, October 16th was the BTO show — and nobody asked for three episodes. BTO played THREE games today, going 2-1, and somehow managed to be the most chaotic team on the slate in every single one of them. Let's start with the wildest: BTO walked into Krashout 2K's house, got punched in the mouth in the first quarter down 23-11, and then clawed all the way back to steal a 65-63 win. Paint-defender was the engine — a massive double-double with 15 rebounds, and they weren't done. In the nightcap against Krashout 2K again — this time on the road — Paint-defender went absolutely nuclear: 16 points and 24 rebounds for the double-double. Yes, 24 boards. That's not a stat line, that's a crime scene. II WHEEL II of Krashout 2K had back-to-back double-doubles across the two games (17/17 and 22/12), but BTO took the split on the day against them.
The other BTO storyline? They ran into a buzzsaw called IPlaymakerEI. In Game 1, More Than Enough handled business 75-50, with IPlaymakerEI dropping 35 points and 11 assists — a dominant double-double that had BTO shaking. But BTO came back swinging in Game 2, erasing a 10-point third-quarter deficit to beat More Than Enough 67-62 and hand the league's top team their second straight loss. The goat feenn ran the show with a double-double of their own — 20 points and 11 assists — while IPlaymakerEI poured in 26 in a losing effort. More Than Enough is now on a two-game skid after entering the day at 19-1. The penthouse is getting a little drafty.
Meanwhile, Red Tape was out here doing a full sweep of Toneville — and it wasn't close in either direction. First, Red Tape won at home 70-52 behind SmooveAp's 30-point performance and Deedthegod's double-double (17 points, 14 rebounds). Then they flipped the script on the road and went even bigger, winning 80-47 — a 33-point demolition — with Deedthegod adding another double-double (10 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists) and Kennygotwork dishing out 8 assists. Red Tape has now won 5 straight and is quietly making serious noise in Rivet City. Toneville, meanwhile, has dropped 8 in a row and the slide is not slowing down.
