Thursday, October 15th was a wild one in the Midwest Esports Association, and the biggest story of the day has two sides — Deadeye went 1-2 on the day, and somehow that's not even the craziest part. Let's start with the fireworks: LogoLarry dropped 41 points and dished 8 assists in Deadeye's 72-69 home win over WOLF — an absolute masterclass. Then, in a second game against For The Dawgs, LogoLarry came back and put up 39 points and 6 assists in a 106-56 blowout win. That's 80 combined points across two games. Someone check the servers. Meanwhile, teammate Im Venom chipped in 38 points and 5 steals in that same blowout. Deadeye looked like a freight train — until For The Dawgs flipped the script in a third matchup, winning 61-56 behind ID Mamba's 29-point effort and ITS BLike's 13-board performance to hand Deadeye a loss to close the day.

Mean Streets was the other team making noise Thursday. Zendior II ran the show with 13 points and a double-double 16 assists — yes, 16 dimes — while HubCityDolf posted a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Mean Streets rolled Guess Who 71-55 and it wasn't close after the first quarter. That's a statement win for a team that's quietly building momentum in Rivet City.

Red Tape kept their winning ways going with a pair of wins over Above Gravity. SupaMan RL went for 41 points in the first matchup — an 89-59 road romp — and SmooveAp added 37 in the 100-73 home victory. But here's the wild subplot: Juicexbhf of Above Gravity had a triple-double in that first loss — 11 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists, and 3 blocks — in a losing effort. That's the kind of line that deserves a standing ovation even when your squad can't get the W. Above Gravity also took their lumps against Elevate 2K twice, with JKEY BMG going for 25 and 33 points respectively across those two wins to push Elevate 2K to three straight victories.

Elsewhere, Sock Monsters picked up a 60-49 road win over Toneville — T OO K A BTA led the way with 31 points and Dark Chaos3 grabbed 11 boards and added 8 assists. Sock Monsters ride that win to extend their current winning streak. On the standings front, More Than Enough sits at a pristine 18-0 and Krashout 2K has rattled off 9 straight — the top of the Sunset Beach conference is not playing around.
