Happy Thursday, October 8th — seven games on the slate today, and the MEA delivered. Let's get into it.

The biggest story of the day is Krashout 2K going full business mode against Hoop Dreams — twice. First, Krashout 2K took a road win 70–62, then came home and absolutely demolished Hoop Dreams 90–66. In that second game, xvNen dropped 32 points to lead all scorers, MyOllies dished out 11 assists for a double-double, and II WHEEL II hauled in a double-double of their own with 20 points and 10 boards. Krashout 2K is now riding a 5-game win streak and looking like one of the most dangerous teams in the league right now.

Over in the Deadeye–Lean Team series, things got complicated. Deadeye took the road matchup 68–65 behind 34 points from LogoLarry — the top individual scoring performance of the day. But LTMaal of Lean Team wasn't going quietly, dropping a double-double with 17 assists and 19 points in a losing effort. Then in the rematch at home, Deadeye flipped the script and won big, 74–53, with iM xSnypE locking in a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds while adding 4 steals, and III Tae III running the offense with 7 assists. Deadeye splits the series, extends their win streak to 5, and LTMaal showed out in both games — just couldn't get the W.

Mean Streets held off a gutsy For The Dawgs squad 75–71 in a back-and-forth battle. Zendior II was the story — 31 points, 10 assists, and 4 steals for a double-double, leading both scoring and playmaking for the home side. That's a complete performance. Mean Streets picks up a much-needed win and snaps any concerns about their form.

Finally, Guess Who and Above Gravity played a wild two-game set. Guess Who took the opener 56–45, but Above Gravity came back and won the nightcap 65–64 — a one-point thriller. Juicexbhf of Above Gravity posted a double-double in each game, going 17 and 12 in game one and 12 and 13 in game two. Above Gravity needed that one bad — they've been one of the league's toughest outs lately, and they proved it again tonight.
