Wednesday, October 7th, and More Than Enough didn't just show up โ they took over. The league's only unbeaten squad went 4-for-4 on the day, sweeping both ZULU and Dawg Mentality in home-and-away splits, and the duo of IPlaymakerEI and Tyy ODT was the engine behind all of it. IPlaymakerEI posted back-to-back double-doubles โ 25 points and 11 assists against ZULU, then 19 and 12 dimes against Dawg Mentality โ while Tyy ODT matched with double-doubles in three straight outings, including 11 points and 16 boards versus ZULU and a pair of double-doubles against Dawg Mentality. That's not a team, that's a machine. More Than Enough is now 12-0 and showing absolutely zero signs of slowing down.
Deadeye had themselves a statement Wednesday too, splitting with BTO and doing the most damage at home. Im Venom dropped 31 points in the home win โ 79-59, a demolition โ adding 3 steals for good measure. Deadeye won the road game as well, 61-56, with Im Venom putting up 22 in that one too. That's back-to-back buckets from one of the most dangerous scorers in the league right now. Deadeye rides a three-game win streak and sits at 9-3, firmly in the Sunset Beach conference race.
BTO split their own doubleheader in a different kind of way โ they went 2-1 on the day overall, handling Ice in our veins twice while dropping one to Deadeye. The star of BTO's wins was Paint-defender, who went for 15 points and 16 rebounds in the first matchup and added 13 boards in the second โ a double-double performance that anchored both victories. Sensei_kevvv chipped in 10 assists in one of those wins to keep the offense moving. BTO is finding their rhythm at the right time.
Over in Rivet City, Silent Reign keeps quietly stacking wins โ three in a row now โ and IIIAPEXIII was the reason Wednesday. They dropped 22 points and 7 steals against Toneville in a 67-57 road win, making life miserable for anyone trying to run an offense. Toneville falls to 4-9 and has now dropped three straight. Meanwhile, ZULU gets swept on the day and has lost four in a row โ a tough stretch for a squad that was looking dangerous not long ago.
