Friday, July 3rd, and Lean Team came to play — twice. LTMaal was absolutely unconscious across both games against ID Elite, dropping 40 points and 12 assists in Game 1, then following it up with 33 and 15 dimes in Game 2. Both performances were double-doubles, and combined they add up to one of the most dominant two-game individual showings you'll see all season. LTDupes wasn't just along for the ride either — the big man posted a double-double in Game 2 with 24 points and 11 boards, and added 19 and 11 in Game 1. Lean Team swept the series 78–64 and 82–53, and have now won three straight. That second game wasn't even close — ID Elite got outscored 26–10 in the third quarter and the roof caved in from there.
ID Elite didn't go down without a fight in Game 1 though. ID Mamba kept the lights on with a double-double of his own — 22 points and 12 assists — and WHY NOT 513 chipped in 19 points with 4 steals. But it wasn't enough. ID Elite has now dropped four straight and are starting to slide at a bad time.
Meanwhile, the undefeated machine keeps rolling. Full Court Pressure made the trip to Mean Streets and came away with a 73–66 win to stay perfect at 14–0. IIHog ran the show with a double-double — 21 points and 10 assists — while XW Keller locked things down on the other end with 7 steals. Mean Streets' iltrifecta led all scorers in the game with 23 points, and Kill614bus hauled in 17 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to knock off the league's last unbeaten squad. Full Court Pressure is a problem, and they are not going away.
