Red Tape didn't just beat Sock Monsters — they buried them. From the jump, Red Tape seized control and never let go, spending 19:09 of 20:00 in front with zero lead changes and a largest lead of 32 points. The tone was set in the first quarter when ShawnxDonx drained a three at 3:51 to put Red Tape up for good, a lead they would never relinquish. The 14-unanswered-point run that blew the game open told the whole story.

Khari 313 was the headliner, going off for 29 pts on a jaw-dropping 11-of-13 FG and a perfect 7-of-7 from three, adding 4 ast and 4 stl with just 1 turnover. That is one of the cleanest individual lines you'll see in the Midwest Esports Association this season. PrimeTim3 Nick ran the show with 6 ast and 16 pts, and Deedthegod quietly posted 15 reb, 5 ast, and 2 blk with 0 turnovers on 4-of-6 FG. ShawnxDonx knocked down 4-of-7 from three and closed with 12 pts and 0 turnovers. For Sock Monsters, ItSxBiGxTonE (streaming the film) led with 13 pts on 5-of-9 FG, and IIMarrII chipped in 12 pts and 6 ast — but it was nowhere near enough.

This was the second meeting between these two on the same day — Red Tape had already taken the earlier game 67-58 — and the rematch was even more lopsided. Red Tape came in at 4-5 and needed a statement; they made two of them.
