Red Tape didn't just survive — they erupted. Trailing after three quarters, Red Tape outscored Sock Monsters 23-13 in the fourth to close it out 67-58, and the turning point came at 4:38 when PrimeTim3 Nick hit the go-ahead jumper to put Red Tape up 46-45 for good. From there, Red Tape never looked back, riding their biggest run of the game — 10 unanswered points — and spending 14:39 of this game in front. Khari 313 iced it with a three at 0:54.8 that made it 62-56, then PrimeTim3 Nick drilled another three at 0:36.4 to push it to 65-56 and put this one away.

Khari 313 was the story on the winning side: 20 points on a jaw-dropping 7-of-8 FG and a perfect 6-of-6 from three. That is not a typo. ShawnxDonx added 12 points on 5-of-7 FG with 4 steals and 0 turnovers, and Deedthegod quietly hauled in 16 rebounds to anchor the glass. On the Sock Monsters side, both T OO K A BTA (17 pts, 10 ast) and IIMarrII (16 pts, 10 ast) posted double-doubles in a losing effort — and streamer ItSxBiGxTonE was efficient all night at 6-of-7 FG — but it wasn't enough.

Red Tape came in at 3-5, a squad that needed this badly, and they delivered their biggest fourth quarter of the season. Sock Monsters entered at 6-4 off back-to-back losses to Guess Who, and this one stings — a lead that slipped away in the final five minutes of Midwest Esports Association play.
