Hoop Dreams led this game for 18:38 — and still lost. Elevate 2K trailed by as many as 11 points, spent just 0:43 in front the entire game, and somehow walked away with a 52-50 win after one of the wildest final minutes in Midwest Esports Association this season. With 0:10.4 on the clock, AmxRio buried a three to put Elevate 2K up 51-48 — that was the game-winner, full stop. Hxndoutz set the table for it, converting a dunk at 1:02 to flip the lead to 47-46 and spark Elevate 2K's 8-unanswered-point run that turned this thing completely upside down.

JKEY BMG was the engine all night for Elevate 2K, dropping 20 points on 8-of-12 FG with 7 assists — and somehow still had time to knock in a free throw at 0:00.6 to seal the final at 52-50. On the losing side, xHydra2k was genuinely excellent with 15 points and 9 assists on 6-of-9 FG for Hoop Dreams, and PlugCal posted a double-double — 12 points and 10 rebounds — that deserved a better fate.

This was the second meeting between these two squads on the same day — Elevate 2K also won the earlier game 51-44. Elevate 2K came in 3-0 and keep rolling; Hoop Dreams entered at 0-5 and the slide continues in the Midwest Esports Association standings.
