T OO K A BTA was simply unguardable. The Sock Monsters star finished with 31 pts on a scorching 12-of-15 FG and 7-of-9 from three, and it was their three at Q4 4:12 that put Sock Monsters ahead for good at 43-40 — a lead For The Dawgs would never claw back. T OO K A BTA kept twisting the knife down the stretch, including a three at 0:48.5 that pushed the lead to 55-45 and sealed the 55-49 final. Sock Monsters spent 14:30 in front and their largest lead stretched to 10 points — this one was never truly in doubt after that go-ahead bucket.

ScriptOPOY put up a fight for For The Dawgs, dropping 24 pts on 8-of-13 FG, 4-of-7 from three, and a perfect 4-of-4 from the free-throw line, but it wasn't enough. IIMarrII quietly ran the Sock Monsters offense with 9 assists, while Dark Chaos3 chipped in 7 pts, 7 reb, and anchored the paint. On the For The Dawgs side, ID Wakanda hauled in a game-high 13 rebounds to go with 4 assists.

Both squads came in at 2-2, but the vibes couldn't have been more different — For The Dawgs had already dropped two to Elevate 2K earlier the same day before this one. The Midwest Esports Association loss drops them further down the standings, while Sock Monsters keep climbing.
