Sock Monsters never let go of the wheel. They led for 19:28 of this game — every meaningful minute — and walked out of Season 19 with a 64-55 win over For The Dawgs that was never really in doubt. The dagger moment came all the way back in Q2, when IIMarrII buried a three at 4:36 to push Sock Monsters ahead 17-14, a lead they would never surrender. For The Dawgs mounted a 9-unanswered-point charge in the fourth to close the gap, but T OO K A BTA answered with a jumper at 1:47 to make it 60-53, and Dark Chaos3 iced it with a three at 1:17 that put the score at 63-55 — that was the ballgame.

ScriptOPOY dropped the best individual line of the night on the LOSING side — 25 points on 11-of-18 FG and 3-of-7 from three — but it wasn't enough to drag For The Dawgs back. On the winning side, IIMarrII finished with 20 points, 7 assists, and 4-of-8 from three, while T OO K A BTA was ruthlessly efficient at 7-of-10 FG for 18 points. Streamer Dark Chaos3 chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds, going 6-of-9 FG and 3-of-4 from three.

Both squads came in at 2-2, but For The Dawgs had just dropped back-to-back games to Elevate 2K — including one that went to OT — and it showed. Sock Monsters move to 4-2 in the Midwest Esports Association standings, while For The Dawgs slide to 2-5.
