Krashout 2K built a lead as large as 15 points and never surrendered the top spot for more than 32 seconds, surviving a furious Mean Streets comeback to win 71-65. The go-ahead bucket came all the way back in Q1 — iltrifecta threw down a dunk at 4:11 to put Krashout 2K up 4-3, and they never looked back. When Mean Streets ripped off their biggest run of the game — 12 unanswered points — it got genuinely scary, but Krashout 2K had just enough answers.

Fr Fella was the closer. The Krashout 2K guard finished with 22 pts on a ridiculous 8-of-9 FG and 5-of-6 from three, capping the night with a jumper at 0:01.8 to seal it at 71-65. MyOllies hit a three at 2:11 to push the lead to 66-60 when Mean Streets was threatening, and Nenerson buried a three at 0:47.4 to make it 69-65 and put the game away. On the other side, lluzii was a problem all night — 20 pts, 8 ast, and 9-of-14 FG with 0 turnovers for Mean Streets. HubCityDolf added a double-double (14 pts, 15 reb) in a losing effort, and FlyestHD knocked down 5-of-7 from three for 17 pts.

Both teams came in at 1-0, so somebody's perfect record had to go. Krashout 2K — now sitting at rank 7 in the Midwest Esports Association — looks like a squad with real depth. Streamer II WHEEL II quietly posted a double-double of their own: 14 pts and 12 reb on 6-of-8 FG.
