Thursday, January 22nd was an absolute FEAST in the East Coast Pro Am League — 15 games, triple-doubles, 40-point explosions, and a pair of series sweeps that demand your attention. Let's get into it.
The biggest story of the night belongs to We Reloaded, who put on a two-game demolition of Xposed Esports, winning 103–49 and 108–69. fatnoss went for 40 and 37 points across the two games, but the real headline is idontswing, who posted a full-on triple-double — 10 points, 23 rebounds, and 11 assists in Game 1 — then added another double-double with 10 boards and 10 dimes in Game 2. That's as complete a two-way performance as you'll see in this league. We Reloaded sits at 15–3 and is not playing around.
Apply Pressure made it a clean sweep over Team Chrome, taking both games 85–82 and 73–69. Juice_uchiha was the engine all night — a double-double of 26 points and 14 assists in Game 1, then 21 points and 13 assists in Game 2, another double-double. Team Chrome's IIYynnII and DezReturns kept fighting — IIYynnII had 19 points and 16 assists, DezReturns dropped 24 points with 11 assists and 3 steals, both double-doubles — but it wasn't enough. Apply Pressure wins the series and extends their winning streak to five. Meanwhile, Pull Up Gang x TSIF swept Ski University as well, 103–61 and 79–66. RageBaitII was everywhere — a triple-double with 14 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists in Game 1. Allriseski dropped 40 for Ski University in Game 2 in a losing effort, which deserves respect, but the series belonged to Pull Up Gang x TSIF.
Dream Chaser split their doubleheader with iKonic Mafia, taking Game 1 by a comfortable 102–82 margin behind qFloc-'s jaw-dropping 45 points and PrimeeeWD's double-double of 32 points and 14 assists. Dream Chaser also won Game 2, 71–58. OneWay and Never Broken also split their two-game set — Never Broken won 85–70 behind NB_Bless-'s 33 points, while OneWay took the second game 59–56 on the strength of FearMosHated's double-double: 13 points and a monster 22 rebounds. Finally, Risky Moves and The FatherHood split their doubleheader too — Risky Moves won the first 68–65, then The FatherHood nearly pulled off the sweep but fell 67–65 in Game 2. The FatherHood is still searching for win number one, but they are making teams earn every bucket.
