Friday, July 17 was Ski university's world — everybody else just lived in it. The league's hottest team ran their winning streak to TEN straight, sweeping all three games on the day and refusing to let anybody breathe. The wildest of the three came against Pharoes Wrath in the nightcap: Ski university trailed 20-7 after the first quarter, dug themselves a 13-point hole, and then flipped the switch. Crazykyski went absolutely nuclear — 32 points, 9 assists — and liljid13 locked in a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists to close it out 65-62. Pharoes Wrath's lcapalottzil was magnificent in a losing effort, racking up 17 assists and 11 points for a double-double of his own, but it wasn't enough. Ski university also handled Pharoes Wrath in the earlier matchup 74-65 — liljid13 posted ANOTHER double-double there with 13 assists — and took down NDZ Reapers 74-70 behind 26 points from SG3asy-4. The Reapers' NDZxtaylormade dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 assists in the loss, but Ski university had too much depth. Twelve wins, one loss. They are not playing around.

Over in the Elevate–NDZ Wolves series, it was a clean sweep for the home team — and a rough night for NDZxWunna, who was spectacular and still went home empty-handed twice. In Game 1, NDZxWunna went for 26 points and 12 assists — a certified double-double — and Elevate still edged them out 82-80. In Game 2, he put up 27 points and 9 assists and Elevate won again, 75-63. WICxBaggedYu led Elevate with 29 points in Game 1, and WICxdr7zzy matched that with 29 in Game 2. When your best player drops back-to-back monster lines and you lose both games, that's a tough pill to swallow. NDZ Wolves have now lost two straight and need to figure things out fast.

The most dominant team performance of the day belonged to About that aKtion, who dismantled The saviors 94-79 and never really looked back. SheLoveSwxg was the story — 24 points, 14 rebounds, a double-double that controlled the glass from tip to buzzer. The saviors actually kept it competitive through three quarters, but About that aKtion outscored them 21-14 in the first and never surrendered the lead. The saviors sit at 0-12 on the season, and the losses keep piling up.

Big picture: Ski university (12-1, W10) is the class of this league right now, and it's not particularly close. Carolina elite shooters sit at 11-2 but haven't played today — somebody's going to have to step up and challenge these guys soon. Pharoes Wrath has now dropped four straight and is in freefall. And Elevate quietly moved to 7-7 with the sweep — they're playing their best basketball at exactly the right time.
