JustSimey of the Dark Green Gardenz went absolutely nuclear in Game 1 against the Navy Blue Devils, dropping 50 points to go along with 12 assists — a full-blown double-double that had jaws on the floor. The Gardenz rode that performance to an 86-74 road victory, with nLGoldo hauling in a game-high 7 rebounds to keep things clean on the glass. Fifty and twelve. In the same game. Let that sink in.

But here's where the day gets wild — the Navy Blue Devils weren't done. In the very next game against those same Dark Green Gardenz, Navy Blue Devils came out and put on a completely different show, winning 112-69 in a blowout that wasn't close after the first quarter. saint_the_kid33 led the way with 29 points, thejshead added 26 points with 8 assists and 5 steals, and DerrickOnGodTTV chipped in 25 points and 6 rebounds. The Devils split the series and sent a message — don't count us out. Meanwhile, JustSimey had a rough go in the rematch, finishing with 17 points and 12 assists — still a double-double, but the Gardenz couldn't keep up with that second-half surge where Navy Blue Devils outscored them 71-39 over the final two quarters.

Over in the Black Legends–TRU MINT series, I MAY LOCK U was an absolute menace across both games. In the opener, the Black Legends took it 88-69 on the road, with I MAY LOCK U racking up a double-double on 32 points and 14 assists, while ATM-MAHJ locked down the glass with 14 rebounds and 4 steals — also a double-double. In the rematch at home, the Black Legends held on 77-70, with I MAY LOCK U going for another double-double — 24 points and 19 assists. Nineteen dimes. The man was dealing all day. Ciinko x of TRU MINT put up a valiant 29 points and 10 assists — a double-double of his own — but it wasn't enough to take either game. TRU MINT drops to L2 on their current skid and will need to regroup fast.

With the sweep, the Black Legends are quietly building something — sitting at 10-12 but winners of 2 straight. The Navy Blue Devils stay locked in at 19-7 in the East, and the Dark Green Gardenz fall to .500 at 13-13 after splitting today's series. The league is moving fast and Saturday reminded everyone — any given day in the BLPL, somebody's about to go off.
