Sunday, August 2nd was an absolute FEAST in the BLPL — eight games, a triple-double masterpiece, a 48-point explosion, and a pair of series sweeps that shifted the standings landscape. Buckle up.

Let's start with the headliner: TMC_CeeJay of Neon Green put on a two-game clinic against Teal that had to be seen to be believed. In Game 1, he posted 24 points, 15 rebounds, and 17 assists — a certified triple-double — as Neon Green rolled 90–64. He came back in Game 2 and did it AGAIN: 19 points, 10 boards, 17 dimes — another triple-double — in a 93–63 road demolition. Two games, two triple-doubles, a sweep. Neon Green extends their winning streak to four and makes it very clear they are not playing around.

The Red Reapers and Dark Green Gardenz played a wild home-and-home that split right down the middle. In Game 1, Dark Green Gardenz won 94–81 at home, powered by JustSimey's 20 assists and double-double night. But in Game 2, Red Reapers flipped the script at home — and xbankkx went absolutely NUCLEAR with 48 points and 12 assists, a double-double performance for the ages, to close out a 91–85 win. That 48-spot is the number of the day in the BLPL, full stop. Meanwhile, Green Lightning — the league's No. 1 squad — also swept Red Reapers in their own two-game set, winning 96–73 and 79–60. RealSir215 led the way in Game 1 with 33 points and 15 assists — another double-double — and Green Lightning now sits at 17–3 with a W3 streak. They are a problem.

Rounding out the day, Dark Green Gardenz swept Black Legends in a pair of close ones — 87–83 and 81–63 — to push their winning streak to two and move to 11–11. I MAY LOCK U of Black Legends went for 32 points and 18 assists in Game 1 — a double-double showing — and still walked away with an L. That's a tough one. Black Legends have now dropped eight straight and are in a serious hole at 8–12.
