Saturday, August 1st, and All The Smoke turned the BLPL into their personal highlight reel. They went 3-1 on the day, and TTvfettychuck was absolutely unhinged — the man dropped 70 points in a 108-81 demolition of Purple Reign, then came back and added 59 in a 111-83 blowout of Orange Crush. That's 129 points across two games in a single day. Somebody check on the defense. All The Smoke now sits 12-6 with back-to-back wins and is firmly in the Eastern top four.

While TTvfettychuck was filling the bucket, RacksDragAlot was doing everything else. In that same Orange Crush blowout, he put up a legitimate triple-double — 10 points, 14 rebounds, and 22 assists — a stat line that doesn't even look real. He followed that up in the Purple Reign game with a double-double of his own: 8 points, 14 boards, and 14 dimes. The floor general was everywhere today. Orange Crush's xUpperPrime put up a respectable fight with 29 points and 19 assists in the first matchup — a double-double effort — but it wasn't nearly enough as All The Smoke handled them twice on the day.

The only team that kept All The Smoke honest was Purple Reign, who stole a 85-82 win in the second game of their series. TheInfamousJai orchestrated it beautifully — 26 points and 15 assists for a double-double performance that gave Purple Reign their best win in a while. It was a lead they built and protected, with All The Smoke never able to fully close the gap. Credit where it's due — Purple Reign earned that one.

Meanwhile, Teal pulled off the split against the league-leading Green Lightning, stealing Game 1 on the road 83-80. tri JDOGG led the way with 33 points for Teal, and Green Lightning never found their footing — they were outscored in every quarter except the third. But Green Lightning came right back in Game 2 and responded with a dominant 96-78 performance, with RealSir215 going off for 63 points. He also had a double-double showing in the first game (30 points, 12 assists) before Green Lightning dropped it. The split keeps Green Lightning at 15-3 and still sitting comfortably atop the Western Conference standings.
