Tuesday, July 21 was an absolute MONSTER of a day in the BLPL — 16 games, wall-to-wall action, and one performance that has to be talked about first. TMC_CeeJay of the Neon Green went absolutely NUCLEAR against Purple Reign, putting up 30 points, 19 rebounds, AND 22 assists in a single game — a verified triple-double that you just don't see every day. Neon Green ran away with that one 112-66, and if that wasn't enough, TMC_CeeJay came back in the nightcap and posted ANOTHER double-double (32 pts, 21 ast) in a tight 97-95 win. Two games. Two double-doubles. One triple-double. Someone go check if this guy is even human.

JustSimey of the Dark Green Gardenz was the other name you need to know today. He dropped 50 points in Game 2 against Purple Reign — a double-double performance — to go along with a 30-point, 17-assist double-double in Game 1. Dark Green Gardenz swept the series, winning 88-73 and 92-80, and Purple Reign is now on a brutal 6-game losing skid. Meanwhile, Green Lightning had no trouble with Maroon 5 either, sweeping both games 93-69 and 89-59 behind RealSir215's 41-point, 11-assist double-double in the second game. Green Lightning are now on a 3-game win streak and looking like a serious Western threat.

Over in the East, Mulberry Sentinels kept their stranglehold on the top spot, handling Navy Blue Devils 87-63 behind llCBandzzzll's 39-point, 10-assist double-double — with 4 steals on top of that. The Sentinels are 7-1 and showing no signs of slowing down. Black Legends also had a wild day — they went into Camo Elite's house and dropped 103 points in Game 1, then locked things down at home in Game 2 with a 101-69 win. I MAY LOCK U was the engine in that second game, dishing out 20 assists for a double-double performance, while ATM-MAHJ led in scoring and rebounding all series long.

The Sky Blue vs Bronze Bombers series was a split, and the Gold Getters went 2-1 on the day against TRU MINT — including a wild three-game stretch where GodsDiscxple was everywhere, racking up 29 points and 18 assists in the full-game win. lavonn22 of Sky Blue had herself a day too, posting a 31-point, 12-assist double-double in Game 2 of the Bronze Bombers series. Pink Panthers and Sky Blue split their two-game set as well, with each team winning on the other's floor. Sixteen games, zero dull moments — that's BLPL basketball.
